The Story set in 1959, New York City. It is a comedy musical about Broadway version of illegal scam fabricated by a producer and his accountant, who are determined to make it in Broadway show business. Max, with his down luck, had his Broadway show, [Funny Boy], closed soon after it is opened. An accountant Leo answers Maxfs ultimate question, how to make money in show business. gYou could raise more money than you need for sure-failure and keep the difference. g In other words, producing a surefire flop would be the secret of making money in show business for producers. Accountant Leo, whose dream is to become a Broadway producer, eventually agrees to be a partner with Max to create a failure show. However, the show, which was supposed to be a fiasco, became a surprising hit.

Original cast of Nathan Lane who played Max the producer and Matthew Broderick who played nerdy accountant definitely contributed to the success of the Producers. But the biggest factor is Susan Stroman's skill to direct Mel Brooks' parodic story effectively.

With fascinating story, and sophisticated music and dance, you will definitely enjoy essences of great American musical.
